Got up early so I could go to school
Floss my teeth so I won't be a fool
Brought and apple, hope it makes her soft, cause
My teacher, she's so tough

Kids can sometimes be so mean
Thought Sally liked me, but I should have seen
Brought some flowers, hope to make her soft, cause
Sally Rogers, she's so tough

Math is harder than it looks
All those number sittin' in those book
Hope it's easy if I study enough, cause
Algebra, she's so tough

Joey Sanders punched my eye
Hurt a lot, but I didn't cry
Next time I'm hit, I hope I'm hit soft, cause
Getting beat up, that's so tough
